FAR Spa, a company from Feltre headquartered in Villapaiera and part of the Steelgroup industrial group, leader in the production of high-resistance tempered wires, renews for 2025 its collaboration with the GasBas Drift Team, a racing team from Lecco known at European level for the results achieved in drifting competitions.
After the success in the Pro2 category of the Drift Kings International Series 2023 championship, the team will be the protagonist of the new season that has just started in these days.
The Italian Drifting Championship 2025 officially began on May 31st with the first round at the Le Colline Circuit in Chignolo Po-Pavia, recording a participation record with 65 registered cars.
The GasBas Drift Team, composed of the specialized workshop of Diego Gasparini and Cristian Bassi from Pescate and driver Francesco Giori, will bring the FAR brand to the track once again this year as main sponsor, building on the international successes already achieved.
Drifting, a fast-growing motorsport discipline, requires the driver to have high technical skills in vehicle control in sliding situations. The spectacular nature of these races has won over an increasingly large audience, both in Italy and abroad, and today represents a showcase of high visibility for partner companies. The 2025 Italian Championship promises to be one of the most competitive seasons ever, with participation numbers that testify to the growing interest in this discipline.
