Positive results also for Steelgroup which, after 4 years of waiting, returned to Düsseldorf for WIRE 2022, the fair dedicated to steel wire and cable which took place from 20 to 24 June.
Steelgroup with its 4 companies – MAB, CB, FAR and ITA – was therefore among the 1822 exhibitors from over 50 countries who decided not to miss one of the most important international events in the sector. A presence even more important in consideration of the increasingly complex global geo-political situation which, as is well known, is heavily influencing the market. Confronting, exchanging and sharing experiences and innovations, entrepreneurial visions, suggestions becomes, therefore, a moment of professional growth not to be missed. On the table, in fact, there were the major issues related to the increase in the prices of raw materials and their availability, the constant increase in the cost of energy, an expensive and problematic logistics, the categorical imperative that it is necessary to innovate with constancy and conviction in order to reach the great challenge to which all 4 companies of the group have been committed for some time: that of environmental and social sustainability. For Steelgroup and its companies, therefore, WIRE 2022 was a profitable experience to share with customers and suppliers, about the incessant work done in the last 4 years, made even more difficult by 2 years of pandemic, with particular reference to the increase in energy self-sufficiency, to the innovation on the technology front and to the fact of having implemented a series of initiatives and projects related to environmental and social sustainability.
Steelgroup, however, does not stop and for WIRE 2024 there will be many other innovations to talk about and to present because meeting is always the most beautiful and satisfying experience to live together.
